MATERIALS
These are the bacterial cellulose materials you’ll design with. Each is grown with its biological colour built in, with no dyeing afterwards.
Each material can be further tuned with the research team: we can adjust flexibility, rigidity, thickness, colour intensity and more, within the limits of the biology. Choose one or two materials that inspire you, and tell us in your proposal what you’d make with them and what properties it would need.
